Cartoon Network’s favorite shapeshifting 15-year-old superhero joins the exclusive club of “everyone and their mother” in a new collectible card game based on the Ben 10 Alien Force franchise.

For those unfamiliar with the series, it features a teenager named Ben Tennyson who finds a watch-like device that lets him transform into any of 10 aliens, which he uses to fight crime and other creatures.

The card game is a blast to play, using hexagonal cards to build the playfield and matching up color tabs a-la triominoes to create attack combos. Three decks are out now: Ben as Swampfire, Alan as Heatblast, and Kevin E. Levin. My personal favorite is Heatblast. Three additional decks are expected in 2009, featuring more of Ben’s morphs.

The best feature of the game is its online play. Each deck contains a code which unlocks the deck online and allows you to play against other players.
